Well, what an adventure. My friends and I attended the cattle drive, some of us bought our own horses along. This morning we are sitting around the campfire on the last morning thinking about all that we have done. We have all left our lives behind, forgotten our every day worries and undertaken the adventure of a lifetime. It has been one of the most challenging experiences of my life but I can honestly say a priceless opportunity to unite with my horse in the way that I have never had the chance to do before. The most stirring surroundings that make you feel like you are living on your own secret planet, with spectacular food (I have never eaten so much in my life), wonderful company and led by people who have the utmost respect for their horses and the job they do around the station. After 5 years of natural horsemanship with my horse that you told me at that time when I was looking for a horse"you have your horse,your just to realise it",I would like to come back to Leconfield for 5 days with you and bring my horse Holly,with me.Do you remember me.....us?

Years ago you were kind enough to continue having a clinic for just me-and it was wonderfull.The following 2 years,I brought Pip(my riding buddy since then) and another lady with us the following year-Karen,to enjoy Mountain cattle drives.Pip and I have done many clinics now learning the Parelli Natural Horsemanship program,I have had many lessons in dressage and western pleasure.But Holly is a Quarter horse-she is not built for dressage and western pleasure-well I dont enjoy that competion and I dont have a competative spirit.Pip is not interested with anything but trail riding and mustering.Holly realy enjoys trail ridingand we are doing a bit of reining at present with John Wicks who is the Australian Reining champion.But after all that we (I)have done,I have always had a yearning to come back to Leconfield-one part is to ride my horse Holly,that I just love to bits and the other is to have some time with her in a unique experience that I just cant offer her here at Tullebudgera.Another part is to show you just how far we have come together after your first introduction to me of natural horsemanship.Honestly Jillian,you were a godsend those many years ago.You introduced me to a life changing experience.LORRIANE NEWLYN

I have been meaning to write to you for a couple of weeks now but have been either too busy or just too damb lazy, however I knew I had to strangle the lazy me and get off my butt and write. I wanted to thank You Steve and Simon for giving me the opportunity to experience the week that I had. As I told you I did not have a hell of a lot of experience with horses but had always wanted to do more with them. The week I spent on your property provided many challenges to me and I enjoy a good challenge, so I hope that gives you an idea of how much I enjoyed myself. Being there allowed me to gain so much more confidence and trust in these magnificent animals. What I got to experience at your property has given me a desire to spend more time with horse and as a result I have acquired a job at a riding school in Sydney taking out trail rides on Sundays. I love being back out in the open paddocks riding horses. I wish to extend to you and your team a huge thanks for all that you have done for me. I hope to see you all again in the not too distant future. Brian Doyle

This has been a life changing experience. Learning natural horsemanship has opened my eyes to a whole new world of horses and horse riding. The tuition Jillian gives you will change your views on the traditional way of treating and riding your horses. The treatment of both human and animals on Hickmans Run is excellent. You are treated to great facilities, meals and surroundings. It is the perfect opposite to a city life. It is relaxing and laid back and a great treatment for a stressful and overworked lifestyle. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to get in touch with the real things in life. Jillian and her team made me feel very welcome and installed in me a confidence in my ability to ride I never dreamed of accomplishing. Over the whole 5 days I never went without anything. The food was 1st class, simple tasty and extremely filling. It has opened up my eyes to natural horsemanship even further and given me a huge sense of achievement & happiness both personally and with my horse. Friends and the team.
