Natural Horsemanship (or Horse Whispering as it is known in some countries) is a link between a horses and a humans mind.
The result of using this method is eventually being able to ride your horse without saddle or bridle or any other restraint - just using hands, feet and the mind.
The most important step is to get your horse to trust you and you must stop dominating your horse with fear and/ or pain as its first response will be for your horse to run. You must always keep in mind that the horse is a prey animal and we are perceived as predators. You must think like a prey animal to get into your horses mind.

At Leconfield Mountain Cattle Drives we combine the Natural Horsemanship techniques of Monty Roberts, Pat Parelli and Ray Hunt and Buck Brannaman with practical demonstrations and encouraging our riders to practise their Natural Horsemanship (Horse Whisperer Techniques) on our horses.
The first step in getting the trust of your horse is through Monty Roberts Join Up. As a result of this the horse sees you as his natural leader and will follow as if you are leading him with a piece of invisible string.
The second step is Pat Parelli's and Buck Brannamans ground games which involves teaching your horse perfect manners with respect, kindness and understanding. Wouldn't it be nice to be able to get your horse to leave the mob, follow you to your saddle and wait peacefully to be saddled up without any restraint on its head whatsoever.

The third step is being able to ride your horse in any terrain communicating with its mind by using body language and with no bridle, head collar or neck string.
Remember - you can't show a horse how much you know until you show him how much you care.
Your also welcome to bring your own horses.
